Places to Visit
Our location between Morecambe Bay and the Lake District means there is so much to see and do for all. On top of that, the wonderful villages that surround us such as Cartmel.Cartmel Racecourse who have 9 race days a year with the first always starting on Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May and finishing at the end of August.
Holker Hall & Gardens at Cark in Cartmel. The gardens are a joy to walk around as well as the hall with its stained glass. They also have regular events.
Hill Top, the National Trust owned former home of Beatrix Potter, the author of the beloved Peter Rabbit books.
